Lee has over 30 years experience in the footwear industry, starting as a sales assistant for British shoe corporation before becoming the youngest manager in BSC history at only seventeen. He has worked with many high street retailers as store manager, trouble shooter and Area manager.
Paul Wilson Marketing Director
Paul works in the Safety Equipment sector at Rock Fall, the UK’s leading Safety Footwear brand. As Marketing Manager, he is tasked with positioning the brand to support its continual growth both domestically and overseas. Recent successes for Paul include development of an award winning catalogue, the conceptualisation and launch of the Rock Fall Stepping Up Campaign and his shortlisting at the 2017 SHP Rising Star in Health and Safety Award.
Rachel Hayward Chairperson
Rachel Hayward runs Ask the Chameleon Ltd, offering competitive bid writing, coaching and training services to local companies. With over 20 years in the voluntary community and social enterprise sector in Birmingham and Derby, Rachel has established, led and coached leaders and managers through design and delivery of contracts, tenders and business locally, regionally and nationally. Rachel is also a Trustee of a Annabel’s Angels, a charity supporting people undergoing cancer treatment, and an Associate Lecturer at the University of Derby’s School of Business.
Simon Eldon-Edington Chairman
Leaving the UK in the 1980s, Simon worked in the Middle East and Asia running branding and marketing agencies, before moving to Los Angeles to work in publishing and marketing. Ten years ago, he transitioned into the entertainment business, writing and producing movies and TV. Returning to the UK in 2017, he is now CEO of 2EMedia, a TV production company that creates content in the drama and factual fields.
Tim Slater Board Director
Tim leads DHL Supply Chains’ Global Life Sciences & Health Care business. With operations in 43 Countries. In addition Tim heads up NHS Supply Chain which provides patient-focused healthcare products and supply chain services to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Tim’s career in logistics spans more than two decades working in businesses such as Tibbett & Britten Group plc, Exel plc and DHL Supply Chain. Tim holds a business degree from Sheffield Hallam University and is a Trustee and deputy chair of the DHL UK Foundation, which funds programs helping disadvantaged children and young people achieve their full potential and a Director of the Road Haulage Association.
