Shoe Aid exists to help the 1 in 3 children and the 250,000 homeless in the UK that are in shoe poverty. We work with major businesses, charities, schools and whole communities – and we’re starting in Nottingham.
There are 4 million children wearing incorrect fitting shoes right now in the UK. This will bring colossal amounts of foot related problems to the NHS over the next 10-15 years.
There are 250,000 homeless people in England. These people are at high risk of suffering trench foot which can lead to amputation.
